How you can Eliminate Unwanted Thoughts Using NLP

Our thoughts control us more than we can imagine. They control our moods and therefore our energy at different times of the day, to work on things and accomplish tasks. Negative thoughts hit our brains at different and unexpected times of the day and can affect us terribly. Getting rid of these thoughts seems like running away from your own shadow and if not treated this could have adverse effects on not just one's performance and the activities they participate in, but also on their mental health.

NLP is a series of techniques that can be used to monitor our brain and control some of its activities. You can watch some NLP videos to get more precise information. Some of these techniques can be used to get rid of negative thoughts and motivate the mind towards more positive thoughts.

Deliberate thinking:

The negative thoughts often pop out in heads out of the blue and start killing us with anxiety. To troubleshoot this situation, try thinking about the thought deliberately. When you do so, you're teaching your brain that these thoughts can be switched on and are voluntary. When it learns that these can be switched on, it will also know that these can be switched off too. Secondly, when you keep reminding yourself of these thoughts and thinking about them, eventually your brains will get bored of it and start thinking about other stuff.

Thoughts are thoughts:

As soon as you get these thoughts, keep reminding yourself that these thoughts are your "thoughts". They are merely ideas that have been born out of your head and whether or not they will come true, is not in your hands and neither is it decided. You need to keep explaining to yourself that no matter how hard you worry about things, it is not worth anything and all in vain because your fear is inexistent and you do not even know whether or not it is the truth and will come true. Running away from the thoughts is not the right way to fight them. What you resist is what persists. And similarly, the more you resist a thought, the more it will keep occurring to you. Instead, remind yourself of the thought and invest some time thinking about it. Keep thinking about it, so much so that you get bored of it.

The white canvas with NLP videos:

Whenever the thought strikes your head, keep repeating that it is just a thought, an idea that does not exist in reality and might never exist. Right after you do this, paint a white canvas in front of your eyes and go blank. It will train your brain to get worked up from the thought, convey that it is useless, and will encourage the brain to forget the thought. Keep repeating that it is just a thought and just like most of your thoughts it will leave your head and not return. Keep thinking about the thought until you zone out and forget what you were thinking about. You need to work up your brain and make it bored of the thought. You could go for some NLP videos while you do this.

Conclusion:

Our thoughts control our moods and therefore our energy at different times of the day, to work on things and accomplish tasks. Negative thoughts hit our brains at different and unexpected times of the day and can affect us terribly. Getting rid of these thoughts seems near to impossible. However, using NLP techniques, one can get rid of negative thoughts.

Try thinking about the thought deliberately. Eventually, your brain will get bored of it and start thinking about other stuff. Keep reminding yourself that these thoughts are your "thoughts". They are merely ideas that have been born out of your head and might never come true. Right after you do this, paint a white canvas in front of your eyes and go blank. You need to work up your brain and make it bored of the thought. You can even watch some NLP videos.
